My new neighbors' first impression on Morgantown

This section of my blog will talk about my new neighbors' first impression on Morgantown

  1. My neighbors next door just moved in a couple weeks ago. They have two beautiful boys, whose ages range from 2 to 5 years old. We usually greet each other if we meet in front of our apartment. In a lovely afternoon, we met just before my doorstep and they told me that a suspicious man stared into their apartment through the sliding door at midnight. They were terrified and had no idea why this man had audacity to stand outside the deck and to kept looking inside their apartment. They called police twice; however, ploice officers didn't come by for some reason... They were too scared to fall asleep that night and wondered why there is no help on the way...
We used to experience the similar situation at 3:00PM two years ago. Fortunately, police came and cheked it out after we seriously expressed our concerns...I really think police men are the guardians of civilians if they can show up in a good timing.
We will definitely double check all locks in our apartment tonight.

  2. "Honey, someone knocked on the door..."My husband looked through the peek hole, and my son was abruptly quiet at this moment....That's the common picture when the strangers knocked on the door...
The first year, one stranger dressed up like a police officer knocked on our door loudly and we answered the door. He was looking for some person who might live in our apartment before we live. He kept asking us and made sure that we were not hiding that man. His attitude was rude and had a terrible manner. We were frightened since that was the first few months we stayed in Morgantown...
In one day of the second year, I was in school and my husband and son were home. They told me someone came to our apartment and would like us to donate $5000 dollars to an unknown institution...
Last week, two furious guys knocked on our door. One guy was in charge of knocking on the door loudly, and the other was flinging a heavy ball into our door. We were scared and kept silent at home...
There are countless incidents of knocking on the door happening during we stay here.
The manager of our apartment keeps reminding us that we better not answer the door if we don't know the strangers. She says she will bust these strangers' butts if we let her know and if she is in the office. However, those strangers usually show up after her work. How could she take care of this situation?
This time, we ignored the knocking sound as usual and then those strangers knocked on the next door...My new neighbors answered the door...We were wondering what had happened after they open the door...
